BRISTOL, Tenn. – Keeli Parkey has been named project manager for Corporate Image (CI), an integrated communications firm headquartered in Bristol, Tennessee.
As project manager, Parkey’s responsibilities include handling client projects that involve research, writing and media relations. In addition, she will develop press releases, feature stories, media pitches and assist with client strategy.
Parkey has spent most of her career working as an editor and managing editor for newspapers in Northeast Tennessee, including The Erwin Record. She was part of the staff that won the Tennessee Press Association’s (TPA) General Excellence Award in 2014. She has also received several individual TPA awards during her career. Most recently, Parkey was a staff writer for Outsider.com — an entertainment website that reaches more than 21 million users and has more than 7 million social media followers.

A native of Unicoi, Tennessee, Parkey earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy with an emphasis in religious studies from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee, in 2006. She earned a master’s degree in theological studies from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2014.
