Dennis Named Branch Manager at Highlands Union Bank’s Hardin Valley Office in Sevierville

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – East Tennessee native Michael Dennis has been named assistant vice president and branch manager for Highlands Union Bank’s Hardin Lane office in Sevierville. Currently celebrating its 30th anniversary, Highlands Union Bank is a community banking system that serves parts of Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee.

In his new role, Dennis oversees all personnel, banking transactions and community outreach, and performs loan transactions at the Hardin Lane office, located at 113 Hardin Lane.

“Michael comes to HUB well known for his client-focused approach, and I know our Sevierville customers will appreciate his expertise and enthusiasm,” says Highlands Union Bank President and CEO Sam Neese. “He is a dedicated banking professional, and we are proud to have him serve in a leadership capacity.”

A 14-year veteran of the banking industry, Dennis has held similar positions with other financial institutions in the Sevierville and Corryton, Tennessee markets. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee.

Dennis is a National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA) basketball coach, currently coaching fifth-grade boys. He also serves as a reserve deputy with the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office.

Dennis resides in Sevier County with his wife, Sherry, and three children.
