BRISTOL, Va. (Aug. 31, 2023) – ‘Bristol Casino — Future Home of Hard Rock’ is the ideal pit stop for NASCAR fans in September, with special events set against the backdrop of the Bass Pro Shops Night Race weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS).
Racing enthusiasts of all ages are invited to Virginia’s first casino to meet NASCAR legends Kyle Petty and Rusty Wallace.
Petty will visit the casino on Thursday, Sept. 14, from 6-8 p.m. The son of NASCAR legend Richard “The King” Petty and grandson of one of the sport’s pioneers, Lee Petty, the third-generation driver’s racing career spanned 30 years, and he remains involved with the sport as a commentator for NBC and the USA Network.
Wallace, a NASCAR Hall of Famer, will greet casino guests alongside his legendary Miller Lite No. 2 car on Friday, Sept. 15, from 7-9 p.m. Notably, it was at BMS where Wallace notched his 50th NASCAR Cup Series win.

As part of the weekend festivities, ‘Bristol Casino — Future Home of Hard Rock’ is offering a giveaway totaling $50,000 in prizes for Unity™ Members on Sept. 15. Eligible visitors over 21 years of age can register to become a Unity™ Member online or at the Players Club inside the casino. Entries for members will be assigned using the following criteria:
- Star and Legend members receive one entry
- Icon members receive two entries
- X members (invite-only tier) receive three entries
Entry drop-off at the promotional area will be open from noon to 9:59 p.m. From 2-4 p.m., five winners will be selected hourly to receive $750 in free play or free bet. From 5-7 p.m., five winners will be selected hourly to receive $1,000 in free play or free bet. At 8 p.m., five winners will be selected to receive $1,250 in free play or free bet, followed by a 9 p.m. drawing for three winners of $2,500 in free play or free bet. The grand prize winner of $10,000 cash will be announced at 10 p.m.
Also in September, ‘Bristol Casino — Future Home of Hard Rock’ will celebrate the kickoff of the college football season with two Fan Favorite Fridays. From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., qualified guests will receive a University of Tennessee blanket on Sept. 8 and a University of Tennessee hat on Sept. 22. These guests can also choose $25 free play in lieu of the gifts. Guests not invited to the promotion can play to earn 75 tier credits on the promotion days to also receive a gift.
Several musical performers from a variety of genres will take the stage at the casino in the coming weeks, including popular acts such as The Minks, The Pink Stones, Banditos and Miles Nielsen. Local favorites such as Craig Street Ramblers, Victor Lawson and Boogie Chillen, Marques Puckett and 8 Second Ride, and Cash Crop will also entertain guests during September.
