BRISTOL, Tenn. — Corporate Marketing recently received top honors at the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Southwest Virginia ADDY® Awards ceremony in Marion, Virginia, and the Northeast Tennessee ADDY® Awards ceremony in Johnson City.
A division of The Corporate Image, an integrated communications firm headquartered in Bristol, Tennessee, Corporate Marketing (CM) received a gold ADDY® from the AAF Southwest Virginia chapter for a non-traditional, Valentine’s Day-themed Fact and Fortune Teller card for Domtar’s Kingsport mill as part of the company’s year-long centennial celebration. Corporate Marketing also received a silver ADDY® for a series of 100th-anniversary billboards for Domtar’s Kingsport mill. Both projects were designed by Marty Engle, CM’s director of graphic services.
Corporate Marketing was also the recipient of a silver ADDY® from the AAF Northeast Tennessee chapter for a 30-second “Precision Surgery” commercial produced for Wellmont Health System and Holston Valley Medical Center. The commercial was directed and edited by Engle.
“It’s exciting to see Corporate Marketing’s work receive local ADDY® awards, and be recognized in an area overflowing with individuals who seek to push the boundaries of advertising with outstanding creativity every day,” says Jon Lundberg, president of The Corporate Image. “These awards demonstrate our continued commitment to providing top-quality communications services and products for our distinguished clients.”
The ADDY® Awards attract more than 40,000 entries each year in local competitions, and are the first phase of a three-tiered national competition.
