Nashville, TN— The law firm of Stranch, Jennings & Garvey, PLLC (SJ&G) announces the addition of two new attorneys to its Nashville headquarters.

R. Christopher Gilreath has joined the firm as a member and co-leads SJ&G’s personal injury practice group. He previously served as the managing attorney of the Memphis office of Gilreath & Associates.

“We are delighted to welcome Chris as co-lead of our robust personal injury practice group,” says J. Gerard Stranch IV, founding and managing member of SJ&G. “Chris is a second-generation trial lawyer who learned at an early age what it means to represent injured victims in serious cases. He brings a tremendous amount of experience to his new role as a seasoned attorney who has served as lead or co-counsel in numerous successful cases, securing generous verdicts for clients.”

Gilreath received his J.D. in 1997 from Cumberland School of Law and is a 1994 graduate of Rhodes College. He is a member of the Memphis Bar Association, the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, the Southern Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.

Attorney Grayson Wells specializes in complex civil litigation, including data breach and privacy class actions in both state and federal courts. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a litigation associate at the Nashville office of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP.

In addition to graduating magna cum laude in 2020 from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Wells earned a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity Risk Management in 2020 from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (summa cum laude) from Park University in 2010.

“Before he went to law school, Grayson spent more than decade as a network infrastructure engineer, both in the military and the private sector,” Stranch says. “His broad education and experience in data breaches and cybersecurity greatly adds to our robust civil litigation practice, which has been an integral area of our firm for decades. We are excited he has joined SJ&G and look forward to the tremendous help he will provide to our clients in this fast-growing legal field.”

Wells is a member of the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association and the Nashville Bar Association.

Previously known as Branstetter, Stranch & Jennings, PLLC, SJ&G was founded more than 70 years ago and operates offices in Nashville, Tennessee; St. Louis, Missouri; and Las Vegas, Nevada. The firm’s attorneys represent plaintiffs in a variety of class actions, mass tort proceedings and additional complex litigation across the nation, including some of the most complicated litigation the courts have seen against some of the largest multinational companies in the world.
