BRISTOL, Tenn., Aug. 26, 2020 — For the 18th consecutive year, King University has been listed among the Best Colleges in the Southeast by the Princeton Review.

The 2021 list evaluates 142 schools in 12 Southeastern states on a variety of criteria, primarily academic programming. Other factors include viewpoints from college counselors and advisors, visits to campus, and student reviews.

Collectively, the colleges and universities in the publication’s 2021 “Best Colleges: Region by Region” list represent approximately 23% of the 2,800 four-year colleges based in the U.S. King’s profile on the list can be viewed here

“Our rigorous academics, combined with a caring and supportive faculty and staff, create an environment that fosters long-term excellence and student success,” said Matthew Roberts, Ed.D., provost of King. “We work very hard to make a private, Christian education available at the same or lesser cost than a public university, and are grateful that the Princeton Review has included us among those institutions they consider the best in our region.”

Each year, King University awards approximately $19 million in aid to students, with an average financial award of $17,520.
