In his new position, Murphy oversees the promotion of Mullican’s flooring products to distributors in a seven-state region that includes Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma. Murphy serves as the liaison between Mullican and its regional distribution partners that sell to hundreds of retailers across the South.
“Kevin is an experienced sales manager who is known for generating and developing new business,” says Brian Greenwell, Mullican’s vice president of sales and marketing. “As a resource for our distribution partners, we expect Kevin will continue to develop those relationships and help extend our reach in those markets.”
A native of Green Brook, New Jersey, Murphy has more than 30 years of sales experience in the flooring industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and is currently pursuing a master’s in business administration at Concordia University in Austin, Texas.
“I look forward to working with Mullican’s distributors and customers throughout the South Central region,” Murphy says. “Mullican is known for its quality products and outstanding customer service, and I’m excited to be with a company that has an industry-leading reputation.”
Murphy resides in Cedar Park, Texas.
