Martin Dentistry Welcomes Dr. Brad Andersen

Jul 25, 2017 | Martin Dentistry

KINGSPORT, Tenn. — Martin Dentistry is excited to welcome Dr. Brad Andersen to its growing dental practice.

A native of Marietta, Georgia, Andersen received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and earned his doctorate of dental medicine degree from the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia.

As a dental education student, Andersen volunteered with the Georgia Mission of Mercy. He was also heavily involved with the Hispanic Dental Association, and served as vice president. Each year, he volunteered at a local farm, where he provided oral health care screenings and hygiene instruction to migrant workers and underprivileged members of the community. Because of this involvement, he was the recipient of the Academy of Dentistry International Student Servant Leadership Award.

Following graduation, Andersen practiced in Roseburg, Oregon, before deciding to return home to the South with his wife, Courtney, and their son to be closer to family.

Martin Dentistry is welcoming new patients at their locations in Kingsport, 1599 Fort Henry Drive, and Colonial Heights, 4260 Fort Henry Drive, Suite 13. Andersen joins Drs. Timothy Martin, Kevin Martin and Perry Joiner at Martin Dentistry, and will be seeing patients at the Kingsport location.
