Mullican Flooring Announces New, American-Made Engineered Collections

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. — Mullican Flooring, a leading manufacturer of quality hardwood floors, has expanded its American-made engineered product line with two new collections, Wexford and Nature.

A EuroSawn product line, Wexford combines three traditional North American sawing techniques to create a classic European look. This 1/2-inch-thick product is offered in 7-inch widths and random lengths up to 7 feet. The collection’s prefinished version is available in six selections of EuroSawn white oak, including Charcoal, Espresso, Harbor Mist, Natural, Saddle and Seabrook.

Nature, a 1/2-inch-thick hickory product, features a character-rich sawn surface. Available in a 5-inch width, this collection offers random lengths up to 7 feet. The Nature collection includes four selections, including Espresso, Greystone, Natural and Provincial.

Both collections are protected by the company’s PPG Ultra Low Gloss finish, which carries a 25-year warranty.

Sherman Appointed West Coast Regional Sales Manager for Mullican Flooring

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. — Kyle Sherman has been named regional sales manager for the West Coast district of Mullican Flooring, a leading manufacturer of quality hardwood floors.

In his new position, Sherman helps oversee the promotion of Mullican Flooring’s products on the West Coast, and serves as a liaison to regional distribution partners who sell products to hundreds of retail stores across the Western United States.

Sherman has more than a decade of sales experience in the flooring industry, most recently working as director of residential builder sales with B.R. Funsten & Company, which he joined in 2006. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a marketing concentration from the Fermanian School of Business at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California.

A European-inspired product line, Wexford combines three traditional North American sawing techniques to create a classic European look. This 3/4-inch-thick product is offered in 7-inch widths and random lengths up to seven feet. Nature, a 3/4-inch-thick hickory product, features a sawn surface texture. Available in a 5-inch width, this collection offers random lengths up to seven feet. The Nature collection includes five selections, including Espresso, Greystone, Natural and Provincial.
